Walnut Mantel and Stone Fireplace

In a rare departure from being exclusive woodworkers, we stepped up to a new challenge. Not only did we tend to the mantel, but also took charge of the masonry on this modern fireplace.

We wanted to make it seem as the custom walnut mantel had simply extruded from the slate surrounding it. The warmth of the entire piece catches the eye of every visitor in the home.
